Babel and Gandhi

The man craves for everything..

and he rationalises his mind to think that everything he wants belongs to him...
he has various names for it .. and we can see this desire in the various articles that light up our press prints .. racism, sexism, regionalism, nationalism, caste system, religion, language discrimination and even patriotism..

And even our leaders or who people say are considered our leaders.. the founders of this nation (nationalism ??) .. were affected from this great bias ..

One prime example of Gandhi... remember the swadesi movement.. in which he urged the public to burn all the foreign elements or articles they had .. ( Guru Tagore did not participate in this movement)

They all forget that before the right of nation or any other society on those articles .. they all belonged to mankind .. a mankind that is not under the shadow of the tower of babel..

By fighting over petty things like Gandhi's possessions.. and haggling over this .. we just show that how deeply we suffer from this disease .. the one they have named as patriotism or natinalism ...

I have still not understood .. how is this nationalism different from caste, religion or racial discrimination ... in essence it is just the same.. just one more storey of tower of babel in our minds
